Tsinghua University Department of Psychology Celebrates the Tenth Anniversary of Department Restoration
On the morning of December 23rd, the Department of Psychology of Tsinghua University School of Social Sciences held a tenth anniversary academic event on the restoration of the Department in Tsinghua University Science Park. Peng Gang, Assistant President, Vice Provost and Dean of Office of Educational Administration of Tsinghua University, attended and delivered a speech during the event. Nearly 200 participants took part in the department restoration activities.
Peng Kaiping, Dean of the School of Social Sciences, is the first dean of the department since its restoration. He said that in the past ten years, the Tsinghua University Department of Psychology has made remarkable achievements in academic research, student training and social services, with a good impact on society. In the future, the psychologists of Tsinghua University will continue to work together to make new achievements.

The Department of Psychology of Tsinghua University was founded in 1926. It was officially restored on October 17th, 2008 and began to recruit undergraduates in 2009.
