State Secretary of Education, Culture and Science of Holland Visits, Cooperation Enhanced between Tsinghua and Groningen University

The signing ceremony of Tsinghua-Groningen Research Cooperation on China-EU Relations was held at Tsinghua on September 1. Tsinghua University and the University of Groningen celebrated their enhanced research collaboration on China and European Union Relations.
Mr. Halbe Zijlstra, State Secretary of Education, Culture and Science of Holland, .H.E. Rudolf Bekink, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to China, Professor Sibrand Poppema, President of the University of Groningen, and Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson Han Jingyang attended the ceremony.
Mr. Zijlstra also visited the Tsinghua Science Park the same day.
Founded in 1614, the University of Groningen is one of the oldest universities in Europe.
